1959 Jaguar XK150S Roadster:
British pronunciation; "Jag-U-ar". The gentleman's
sports car! This XK150S is the ultimate evolution of the famed
Jaguar XK series that won the famous 24 Hours of LeMans Race in
1951, '53, '55, '56 and '57. Under the bonnet (hood) is a
powerful but smooth 3.8 litre dual overhead cam, 250 HP in-line six
cylinder engine. The "S" designation represents the
triple SU side draft carberators as well as a higher performance
cylinder head. The transmission is a fully synchronized 4
speed with electric overdrive. Ahead of its time in 1959, the
XK150 features rack and pinion steering and four wheel disc brakes.
This 150 has the optional chrome knock off wire wheels.
This car was an absolutely, 100%
rust-free body. It had a complete frame off chassis, body,
interior and mechanical restoration. It has the original
