1954 Chev. Bel Air Two Door Post:  This is Tom's personal car, built expressly by and for himself.  This car was built from a life long Arizona car with 78K actual miles at time of purchase.  This car was, and is, absolutely 100% rust-free.  All of the sheet metal is laser straight and is 98% free of filler.  All of the trim and chrome is new or rechromed and polished.  The car is finished in a beautiful base/clear '55 Chev. Yellow and White (orig. color was yellow and green).  It sets on 15" and 14" rallyes with Coker Radials.  Body mods. are minor and subtle consisting of trunk lid is decked and smoothed, Chev. emblem is removed from the hood, it has a hideaway power antenna and the front bumper is a smoothed one piece California bumper.  The interior is an $8K glove leather custom by Bohde, following the original interior design.  It has power windows, a painted Ididit tilt column with a LeCara steering wheel, Lokar e-brake and pedals, a Clarion AM/FM/Cassette stereo built into the glovebox and vintage Sun gauges and mooneyes tach.  The suspension is a complete hub to hub Fat man Fabricators tubular "A" arm dropped spindle independent front end with GM large rotor power disc brakes and a '57 Chev. rear end.  This cool '54 is powered by one of the hottest 235 c.i. sixes around.  This engine has +.030 flat tops, is balanced and blueprinted, has a lightened flywheel, a ported and polished head, and hot cam with solid lifters, Mallory ignition, and dual carbs on a vintage Edmunds intake and jet coated split exhaust manifold mated to an aluminum tubing Flowmaster Exhaust.  The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual S-10 transmission.  Wiring is by Painless.  Stop light to stop light, this car can get rubber through 3rd gear and can beat most small block V-8's.  How cool is that?  This car has been babied and has less than 2K miles since built so it is as a fresh build.  One of the nicest '54's around, priced at $28,900.00.
